Bio

Mariangela Ratto


 

Visual artist, writer and photographer. She was a member of the Casadalapa Collective. Works with Urban Intervention and Independent Publishing. Educating art at the NGO. Gotas de Flor com Amor, taught photography and art to socially vulnerable children. She has released artist books: Sp-Centro (2025), Nepal (2025), Atacama(2024), Guadalajara(2024), India (2024), Thailand (2024) ,  Island (2023), Islas Canarias (2023), Berlin (2023) , Toffia (2022), Diário da Casa da Lapa (2021), Parque Ibirapuera (2020), Vila Itororó (2019) and the zine “Olhos da Cidade” (2018).She has released the photobooks: Eyes that talk(2022)  and Cem Anos de Postais( 2023) She has participated in exhibitions at MuBE, Memorial da América Latina, Memorial dos Povos Indígenas (Brasília),  Pinacoteca de Santos, Art Raw Gallery (NY), l´'Espace Culturel Philippe Noiret (FRA) among others.

 

Post-graduated in Photography as Contemporary Art (SENAC)(2021).
